(Senior) Manager, Group Finance
Admicom is a SaaS provider that digitalizes the construction and building industry ecosystem and leverages the global megatrend of construction technology. The company was founded in Finland and is listed on the First North Helsinki stock exchange.
We are currently preparing for our next phase of accelerated growth, which also requires the development of our finance function. This is where we need you as Manager (Senior), Group Finance!
Why are we strengthening our team?
Admicom is beginning the next chapter of its strategy, and as a company and finance function, that means a big transformation in the coming years.
We have just completed the mergers of our Finnish subsidiaries, and our future roadmap contains changes to our core systems (subscription billing and ERP) and ensuring our operations are efficient also in the international environment. We will be revamping many of our key business processes in co-operation with multiple non-finance stakeholders at Admicom.
During this strategy phase, we are also looking to accelerate our inorganic growth through M&A. For the finance team, this means being strongly involved with the upcoming transactions — e.g., through financial DDs and executing the integrations of the acquired companies.
Admicom’s future may also hold a transition to IFRS. While we have not yet made a definite decision, we are future-proofing our team with IFRS competences and knowledge.
What kind of candidates are we looking for?
In this recruitment, we are first and foremost looking for a team member with a positive attitude and a solid, versatile background in finance to work with us toward our common goals. If you prefer routines and stability, this position is not for you.
We value the ability and drive to lead and participate in transformative projects. Previous experience related to our upcoming projects (ERP, process development, M&A or IFRS conversion) will be considered an advantage, but is not mandatory – we believe that versatile finance experts can succeed in any new challenge as long as they have the right kind of “can do” attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, clear communication style, and a positive impact on other people.
We believe that a background in external reporting and accounting/audit creates a strong foundation for succeeding in this role, but we do not exclude professionals with strong business control and FP&A backgrounds either. At Admicom, we don’t view internal and external accounting as separate, but believe that true finance stars should be able to manage both at least to some extent. We are also happy to support our new team member in gaining experience in new areas of finance.
What will this role consist of?
In this role as (Senior) Manager, Group Finance your role could consist of following areas:
Developing the finance function and core processes related to finance
Implementing new ERP system and related key systems
Designing and implementing internationally capable finance processes and ways of working
Participating in M&A
Potentially preparing Admicom for IFRS conversion

Admicom’s Finance & Operations team is a close-knit group of skilled professionals located in Helsinki and Jyväskylä. We are responsible for finance, IT, legal, and business operations, which gives our team a central role in developing the company’s processes and systems. We work extensively with the rest of the organization to build smooth and efficient processes that support our business.
We actively strive to reduce time spent on routine tasks and focus on improving processes that drive the business forward and enable successful execution of our strategy. We handle legal and regulatory obligations carefully and with a positive attitude.
Our team works both from the office and remotely, and flexibility is important to us. However, in this role the greatest impact is achieved by collaborating on-site. We believe that physical presence supports ongoing projects and strong relationships.
Criteria to succeed in this position:
5+ years of experience in versatile finance roles
Business process design and implementation
M.Sc. (Econ.) in Accounting or equivalent
Fluent English and/or Finnish
Excellent communication and cooperation skills
Structured way of working and great time management skills
Withstanding uncertainty and ability to take on new challenges
Following experience can be viewed as advantage:
Experience in SaaS business and SaaS metrics
IFRS expertise
Experience in M&A projects
Understanding of internal control environment and effective controls
