Admicom is a SaaS provider that digitizes the building and construction ecosystem and capitalizes on the global megatrend of construction technology. The company was founded in Finland and is listed on the First North Helsinki stock exchange. We have just renewed our organizational structure and in order to support Admicom's accelerating growth strategy phase in the best possible way, we are looking for an experienced Business Controller who is also proficient in external accounting and, in particular, the regulation related to capitalization of development costs, from the perspective of both Finnish Accounting Standards and IFRS.
What would you do?
We are looking for a Senior Business Controller to support our Group's product development and product management functions, in particular. You will play a key role in supporting the accelerated growth phase in the finance function, which supports the company's strategic decision-making and helps ensure that growth is sustainable and consistent. In your role, you will also be responsible for the development of the Group's management accounting and financial forecasting processes and participate in financial management system projects.
Your tasks include
- Support for the Group's product development and product management in the role of finance. You will work closely with our Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Chief Product Officer (CPO). You will improve the Group's ability to calculate and monitor product profitability and to make decisions related to our product portfolio.
- Preparation, monitoring and maintenance of business cases for product management and product development. You will develop Admicom's capabilities to make decisions based on business case modeling. You will create processes for the Group to manage the lifecycle of business cases and be responsible for training personnel on the topic.
- Identification, monitoring and valuation of product development projects to be capitalized. You will work in close cooperation with the Group's external accounting and be responsible for the existence of capitalization criteria for development projects to be capitalized in the balance sheet. You will also be responsible for reviewing the development costs in the balance sheet with the business and preparing valuation calculations.
- Development of management accounting and financial forecasting processes. You will work in cooperation with the entire finance team, creating constantly evolving processes to support the Group's management accounting and forecasting, taking into account the organization's evolving needs.
- Development of the system architecture of financial management and the implementation and development of systems. You will work in close cooperation with the rest of the finance team in developing Admicom's financial system architecture. You will be strongly involved in future system deployments and ensure the efficient use of systems throughout the organization.
- Internationalization. You will also play a key role in the Group's internationalisation from the perspective of the finance function.

What do you need to succeed in this position?
Absolute prerequisites for success in the position
- Extensive experience in internal and external accounting as well as in the development of financial/business processes and systems.
- IFRS competence concerning the capitalisation of development costs (IAS36 and IAS38).
- Experience of working in international organizations.
Other criteria for selection for the position
- Prefarably over 7 years of experience in financial management
- M.Sc. (Econ.) in Accounting or equivalent
- Experience in SaaS business and SaaS metrics is considered an advantage
- An understanding of internal control environment and efficient controls is considered an advantage
- Fluent English language skills both in spoken and written are required for the position.

In your role, you will support product management and product development in creating new operating models, so the ability to purposefully move development projects forward and the ability to create good relationships across organizational boundaries is of primary importance – in other words, you have excellent interaction and communication skills.
You also have the ability to open-mindedly and boldly identify essential areas for development in the finance function and propose solutions to them. We value a structured way of working, but in our team it is equally important to be able to withstand uncertainty and have ability to take on new challenges.
