We are now preparing for our next phase of accelerated growth, and strengthening our product organization is a key part of that journey. To support this, we are looking for a Product Area Manager to lead a portfolio of products and ensure strong alignment, prioritization, and measurable business impact across teams.

Product Area Manager

As a Product Area Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our product portfolio. You will translate company strategy into a clear product area direction, aligned priorities, and tangible business outcomes that directly impact growth and retention.

You will act as the central alignment and decision point across Product Management, Software Development, Support, and Strategy stakeholders. While individual Product Managers own their respective products, you bring the bigger picture together, ensuring portfolio-level coherence, managing cross-team dependencies, and making informed trade-offs to maximize both customer value and commercial performance.

This role calls for a hands-on leader and change driver: someone who is comfortable diving into details when needed, while guiding teams toward a shared direction. You will strengthen alignment, clarify priorities, and help build a more unified way of working across products and teams.

What you’ll do

You will define and drive the product area strategy, ensuring roadmaps across teams are aligned, realistic, and commercially impactful. You will govern prioritization at portfolio level, manage dependencies, and make structured trade-offs balancing customer value, business impact, and delivery constraints.

You will own and monitor key performance drivers such as ARR, NRR, NPS, and churn, ensuring churn signals are identified early and prioritized effectively. A key focus will be strengthening and embedding a scalable product operating model, bringing clarity and consistency to decision-making and execution.

You will play a key role in driving change across the product area, aligning teams and ways of working to ensure we move forward as one coordinated portfolio.

In practice, your week will include structured check-ins with Product Managers, reviewing roadmaps and cross-team dependencies, leading prioritization and governance discussions, monitoring performance metrics and churn signals, and aligning with Software Development and Support on risks and customer-critical issues. You will ensure that decisions are transparent, trade-offs are explicit, and the product area delivers coordinated customer value and business impact.

What will help you succeed in this role

• Experience leading complex, multi-product areas with portfolio-level prioritization and roadmap governance

• Strong people leadership and ability to lead through influence

• A hands-on mindset and willingness to dive into details when needed, while keeping the bigger picture in focus

• Strong SaaS commercial acumen and understanding of subscription business value drivers

• Proven ability to make decisions balancing customer value, business impact, and delivery constraints

• Strong ability to drive cross-functional alignment and decision-making with multiple stakeholder groups

• Able to bring clarity and structure in complex and fast-moving situations

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Finnish and English, with the ability to articulate strategy, priorities, and trade-offs clearly to different audiences

In addition, experience in the construction technology market and international exposure will further support your success in this role.

We offer competitive compensation of 5800–6800 €/month + bonus, a hybrid working model, and a primary work location in Helsinki.
